The annual conference is where bloggers, tweeters, instagrammers, pinners, and facebookers throughout the state convene to educate and train on the latest industry trends.
Florida native Draper started her award-winning new media company, Authentic Florida, over five years ago. The centerpiece of the company is the website, AuthenticFlorida.com, that features a travel and lifestyle blog devoted to the simple and delightful pleasures for Florida living. Authentic Florida is intended to inspire discovery of the accessible, yet under-appreciated reaches of the state that are uniquely Floridian. The blog also invites readers to simplify – whether traveling, cooking, gardening, enjoying art and authors, or homes and neighborhoods while discovering uncomplicated ideas for living.
Reclaiming her authentic Florida heritage has become her life passion and inspirational compass expressed through her website.
Draper is a member of the Society of American Travel Writers and has been elected to the 2016 Florida Outdoor Writers Association board of directors.
