The Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens always honor members of the military with discounted admission, but in honor of Veterans Day, the Zoo is taking it further. Read on to see how you can celebrate Veteran’s Day at the Central Florida Zoo!
From Saturday, Nov. 7, to Veterans Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11, active and retired military members will receive FREE admission. This includes active duty and current guard/reserves as well as non-active duty, retirees, and veterans.
Military members must simply show a valid military I.D. or DD214 at the gate. And it doesn’t stop there. Immediate family members who wish to make some memories with their veteran will still receive 25 percent off single-day Zoo admission (the normal discounted rate for military members).
The complimentary admission and discount at the Central Florida Zoo for Veteran’s Day are only available when purchasing tickets in-person at the Zoo and cannot be applied to online purchases.
The Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens is home to over 350 animals in Sanford, Florida. As a not-for-profit organization, it is a leader in conservation, providing experiences that excite and inspire adults and children to learn and also act on behalf of wildlife.
