Blue Spring State Park is a Florida State Park and designated manatee refuge along the St. Johns River.

The spring area has a cool water temperature, with spring water averaging 72 degrees.

Conservation efforts and park improvements have led to a growing population of West Indian manatees, who call the area their winter home.
