The Milk District is a neighborhood that encompasses a small section of the city west of the Orlando Executive Airport and east of downtown Orlando. It is full of local small businesses and hosts a variety of events.
The district got its name from the nearby T.G. Lee Dairy processing plant that opened in the area in the 1950s. The plant is still going strong to this day, having shaped its neighborhood over decades with employment opportunities, community activism, and of course, milk.
