Meet PJ the Rhino, Central Florida Zoo’s One-Horned Rhino

Experience the excitement of an up-close encounter with PJ the Rhino, the one-horned rhino, from the Central Florida Zoo in Sanford

Available daily at 11:30 a.m. / 11:50 a.m. / 12:10 p.m.

Space is limited to five (5) participants per Central Florida Zoo rhinoceros encounter.

  • Annual Pass Holder – $15.00 per person
  • Non-Pass Holder – $20.00 per person

Children under 13 must be accompanied by a paying adult.  

SAFETY MEASURES:

  • All participants must wear a mask during the entire encounter.
  • Hand washing is also required before and after the encounter.

This experience with PJ the Rhino is based on availability and can only be purchased upon arrival at the Zoo. 

DID YOU KNOW?

A rhino’s horn is not bone, but rather made of a protein called keratin. Keratin is found in your hair and nails, the feathers of birds, and the quills of porcupines!
