Coral Castle Museum is a fun attraction in Homestead that was built by a man named Edward Leedskalnin. He carved over a thousand tons of coral rock to create Coral Castle.

Today, guests can visit this great place and see Ed’s grand accomplishment, which he built by himself over the course of 28 years.

Once you have toured the grounds, make sure to stop by the gift shop for some unique souvenirs. 

Coral Castle is open Thursday through Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm. Closed Monday through Wednesday.

Everglades Outpost Wildlife Rescue

Everglades Outpost Wildlife Rescue is a nonprofit organization that rehabilitates sick and injured animals.

Visit the rescue to see animals like raccoons, tigers, gators, and lemurs up close. On the weekends, you can watch educational animal shows.

Other packages include behind-the-scenes tours and the chance to swim with an alligator.

Everglades Outpost Wildlife Rescue is open Friday through Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm. Open Monday through Thursday by appointment only.
