There are plenty of things to do once you make your way past the main entrance and parking area of Fanning Springs State Park.

The short walk provides views of area landscapes. These include depressions, lush hardwood, and pine forests.

The camping area does not have electricity. There are two-bedroom cabins along the Suwannee River Wilderness Trail that can be reserved. The cabins have a screened porch, kitchenette, and central heating and cooling.
TIPS:
- Fanning Springs is open daily from 8 am to sundown.
- Admission fees are $6 per vehicle (two to eight people), $4 per single-occupant vehicle, $2 for pedestrians, bicyclists, and extra passengers, and $2 per person arriving by boat.
- Primitive camping is available at $5 per night plus tax per person.
- Cabins can be reserved starting at $100 per night plus tax, a $6.70 reservation fee, and a $7 utility fee per night.
- Outside firewood is not permitted to be brought into the park. Visitors must purchase firewood directly from the park.
