Florida Fourth of July events are something everyone looks forward to celebrating. 2024 is no exception.
Well, maybe not pets and folks with PTSD due to the fireworks, but the essence of Independence Day is a bonding experience for all Americans.

50th Annual Sopchoppy Fourth of July Celebration and Fireworks
When: Thursday, July 4th
Where: Myron B. Hodge City Park, Sopchoppy
Information: Join Sopchoppy on the fourth of July to enjoy a parade, live music, food, vendors, and a fireworks display.
The parade starts at 10:00 am followed by the Myron B. Hodge City Park opening at 11:00 am.

Celebrate America Tallahassee
When: Thursday, July 4th, from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Where: Tom Brown Park, Tallahassee
Information: Celebrate Independence Day with the City of Tallahassee. Enjoy food trucks and activities for kids.
To kick off the fireworks show, the orchestra begins with the National Anthem at 9:45 pm, continues to play along with the fireworks, and finishes the event with the 1812 Overture.

Panama City Star Spangled Spectacular
When: Thursday, July 4th
Where: Pier Park, 12213 Front Beach Rd., Panama City Beach, FL 32413
Information: Celebrate with the largest fireworks display on the Gulf Coast as fireworks are fired from the Russell-Fields City Pier and the M.B. Miller County Pier.

Downtown Apalachicola Independence Eve Celebration

Where: Mexico Beach, FL
Information: Celebrate in Mexico Beach with a day filled with events for the entire family. Join in a 5k and then enjoy the Best Blast on the Beach Fireworks Show. The show begins at 8:30 pm.

Downtown Panama City Salute to Freedom
When: Thursday, July 4th, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 9:30 pm
Where: Downtown Panama City
Information: This family-friendly Florida Fourth of July event starts at 5 pm with a parade starting at 8th Street. The parade heads south on Harrison Avenue, west on 4th Street, and ends at Oak Avenue.
Vendors and food trucks are all along Beach Drive with live music at 6 pm at the Destination Panama City Visitors Center stage.
At 9:30 pm, you can view the fireworks display on your personal blanket and lawn chairs.
Navarre Beach Hometown Fourth of July Celebration
When: Thursday, July 4, 2024
Where: 8649 Gulf Boulevard, Navarre Beach
Information: Celebrate the Fourth of July with the Navarre Beach Fireworks display beginning at 9 pm.
Make sure you bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the show.
Pensacola’s 4th of July Celebration
When: Thursday, July 4th, 2024 at 9:00 pm
Where: Bartram Park, Bayfront Parkway (closed from Intendencia to Chase St.)
Information: Come out with your blankets and lawn chairs and get ready for a fantastic fireworks show over the bay beginning at 9 pm.
Cat Country 98.7 has special 4th of July music to accompany the fireworks if you bring a radio.
Food Truck Alley is located at Bartram Park, and portable bathrooms can be found up and down Bayfront Parkway.

Northeast and North Mid-Florida
Branford River Reunion Fourth of July Evening Celebration
When: July 4th, 2024
Where: Ivey Park and Hatch Park, Branford
Information: This Fourth of July celebration starts with a duck race at Ivey Park on the Suwannee River followed by a parade down Suwannee Avenue.
The rest of the day includes entertainment and activities at Hatch Park. Plus, there are booths and activities for the kids. The fireworks display begins at 9:30 pm.

WUFT’s FANFARES and FIREWORKS 2024
When: July 3rd, 2024 from 6:00 to 10:00 pm.
Where: The University of Florida Bandshell, at Flavet Field, Gainesville
Information: Enjoy an evening of live music followed by fireworks by Skylighters of Florida. The fireworks start at approximately 9:40 pm.
WUFT-FM Morning Edition host Glenn Richards is the event’s emcee. You can bring your own coolers, but they are subject to being checked by the UF Police Department. Food Trucks are on-site, too.

Starke Splash Bash
When: July 4th through July 6th, 2024
Where: David Hurse Stadium, 581 N Temple Ave, Starke, FL 32901
Information: It’s time to cool off this 4th of July with the Splash Bash at David Hurse Stadium.

Lake Butler Independence Celebration and Fireworks

Information: Jacksonville’s popular Fourth of July event returns again this year to celebrate Independence Day.

Lake City Independence Day Festival
When: July 4th, 2024 at 3:00 pm
Where: Lake City Town Park, located downtown at the corner of Third and Silver Streets
Information: Spend two days celebrating Independence Day in Lake City. Enjoy fireworks, parades, dancing, and so much more.

St. Augustine Fourth of July Fireworks
When: Thursday, July 4th, from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Where: Castillo de San Marcos, St. Augustine
Information: From 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, visitors can enjoy a concert at the Castillo de San Marcos with fireworks starting at 9:30 pm. This 20-minute fireworks show can be viewed anywhere along the Bridge of Lions and South Castillo Drive.
The show is choreographed to patriotic music over a sound system across the bayfront area.
After the fireworks, guests can visit the historic downtown pubs and restaurants for a drink and a bite.

46th Annual Fireworks at the Fountain
When: Thursday, July 4th, 2024
Where: Lake Eola Park, Orlando
Information: Starting at 4:00 pm, enjoy live entertainment, family-friendly fun, and a variety of vendors to purchase food and drinks.
The fireworks display begins at 9:15 pm, set to a live patriotic performance by the Orlando Concert Band.

9th Annual Zephyrhills Summerfest
When: June 29th, 2024
Where: Zephyr Park in Zephyrhills
Information: The Zephyrhills Summerfest begins at noon with watermelon eating contests, kids’ dance-offs, and entertainment from DJ Express.
Starting at 5:30 pm, two of Tampa’s new country artists, Fast4Ward and Crossfire Creek, perform while you wait for the 30-minute fireworks display at sunset.

The City of Crystal River Centennial Celebration

Where: Kings Bay, Crystal River
Information: The City of Crystal River celebrates 100 years since its official incorporation as a city.
The 4th of July event is celebrated on Monday, July 3rd. Festivities include a golf cart and bike parade, live music, food vendors, and more.

Red Hot and Boom
When: July 3rd, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm
Where: Uptown Altamonte, Crane’s Roost
Information: Presented by the City of Altamonte Springs and XL 106.7, enjoy live music and food from various food vendors.
Performances by McKenna Grace, JP Saxe, Benson Boone, 408, No Lonely Hearts, and Olivia Lunny.
At this Florida Fourth of July event, you’ll enjoy one of the best fireworks shows in the entire state. Fireworks start at 9:30 pm.
Tampa Bay July Fourth Boat Parade and Blessing of the Fleet

Where: Tampa Riverwalk, Sparkman Wharf
Information: The Tampa Bay area hosts a Fourth of July boat parade for the first time. A waterski show kicks off the festivities.
The Blessing of the Fleet is an old tradition practiced in many boating communities worldwide, and this parade includes three blessing stations.
Decorated boats compete for multiple prizes. A fireworks display at multiple locations throughout Tampa Bay follows the parade.
South and Southwest Florida
City of Boynton Beach Red, White, and Blue with a Waterfront View
When: Thursday, July 4th, starting at 4:00 pm
Where: Intracoastal Park, 2240 N. Federal Hwy, Boynton Beach, FL 33435
Information: To celebrate the Fourth of July, the City of Boynton Beach has multiple stages of live music, food trucks, and the largest fireworks display in Palm Beach County synchronized to patriotic music.
Make sure to bring lawn chairs or blankets to watch the show. Due to limited on-site parking, please consider ride-sharing. Drop-off/Pick-up location is Harvey E. Oyer Park.
They also have free shuttles available at the Town Square Parking Lot, Journey Church, and NYU Langone.
Coral Springs Fourth of July Celebration
When: Thursday, July 4th, starting at 5:30 pm
Information: Celebrate Independence Day in Mullins Park with family-friendly activities like a water splash zone, game zone, community cornhole, food trucks, and live entertainment by Alexander Star and The Golden People and DJ Reré, and emcee Andres.
Where: Mullins Park, 10000 Ben Geiger Drive, Coral Springs, 33065

Fire on the Fourth Festival Miami Beach
When: July 4th, 2024
Where: In and Around the North Beach Bandshell, Miami Beach
Information: Stop by for a full day of family-friendly entertainment to celebrate the Fourth of July.
The event begins at the city’s North Beach Bandshell, transformed into an outdoor roller disco. The music continues during the 25-minute fireworks display at 9 pm.

47th Annual 4th Of July Parade and Fireworks “Celebrating Freedom”
When: Thursday, July 4th, 2024
Where: Rowell’s Waterfront Park (MM 104.5), Key Largo or make reservations at J.J. Big Chill for VIP seating
Information: Grand Marshal “Doc Boilini” leads the “Freedom” parade to honor Monroe County’s Bicentennial this year.
The parade begins at 10:00 am at MM 98.2 in front of Anthony’s Clothing Store and continues through the town to Laguna Avenue.
At approximately 9:45 pm, the annual Bayfront Blackwater Sound fireworks celebration kicks off.

Fourth on Flagler Fireworks and Entertainment
When: Thursday, July 4th, 2024
Where: Downtown West Palm Beach Waterfront
Information: Celebrate the Fourth of July along Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach with free, family fun. Enjoy entertainment, food, drinks, and live music.
A car show along Flagler Drive features all types of car makes and models.
Starting at 8:45 pm, a patriotic salute occurs before the fireworks display at 9:09 pm.

Greenacres Independence Day Celebration “Ignite the Night”

Where: Samuel J. Ferreri Community Park, Greenacres
Information: This patriotic, family-friendly Florida Fourth of July event features vendors, live musical entertainment, and more.
In the evening, the event concludes with a spectacular, patriotic fireworks display.
Freedom Fest

Where: Fort Myers River District
Information: Celebrate the fourth with food trucks from every cuisine, a featured band (Deb and The Dynamics), and a street fair with local artisans and business vendors.
The party starts at 6 pm at the intersection of Hendry and Edwards Drive. Fireworks kick off at 9:30 pm.
Margate Fourth of July Parade and Fireworks
When: Thursday, July 4th, from 9:00 am – 9:00 pm
Where: Margate Boulevard and 441, Margate
Information: This all-day, family-friendly event kicks off with a Fourth of July parade at 9 am with the parade. The evening ends with the 4th of July Extravaganza from 5 pm to 9 pm.
Here, you can enjoy food trucks, obstacle courses, and a performance from the band 30Vice. The fireworks display begins at 9 pm.
Star Spangled Bonita
When: Thursday, July 4th, 2024
Where: Riverside Park, Bonita Springs
Information: This Florida Fourth of July event in Bonita Springs includes live music, food and beverages, a golf cart glow parade, games for the kids, and a laser light show.
At dusk, there is a fireworks display.

Where: Las Olas Oceanside Park, Fort Lauderdale Beach
Information: Bring your friends and family to Las Olas Oceanside Park and Fort Lauderdale Beach for live bands, a kid zone, beach games, contests, and a fireworks show you don’t want to miss.
Flo Rida is the headlining performer. After the sun sets, the City’s spectacular 23-minute fireworks show on Fort Lauderdale Beach kicks off at 8:45 p.m.
