The Florida Vintage Market: Timeless Treasures

Last Updated on February 13, 2023

The Florida Vintage Market capitalizes on small business owners and local vendors distributing sustainable, ethically sourced, and vintage apparel and trinkets.

This market is free for consumers to attend, and for small businesses and stores to register for a booth.

Ray and Nathalie, founders of the Gazzelli Sport pop-up in Gainesville, created The Florida Vintage Market in 2018. It occurs monthly in Gainesville, and at a slightly less frequent rate in Orlando, in varying outdoor venues.

Some of the venues feature local restaurants, while others permit food trucks to participate in the market by parking inside the shopping perimeter.

However, the true highlights of these markets are the vendors. Registration for booths opens for a month prior to the event. There are approximately 30 to 40 booths available.

Vendors come with a plethora of goods, ranging from plants to antiques to clothes and beyond.

While you’re hunting for the perfect piece, be sure to bundle products together for a discounted price.

It’s always a good idea to negotiate whenever possible.

Because many of the vendors are small business owners working out of their homes, they are often lenient with prices and are willing to negotiate value.

This market is one of the most unique places to get your birthday and holiday shopping done, as many of the pieces are one of a kind. You won’t find anything similar elsewhere.

If you happen to be in town when one pops up, then be sure to stop by and check out what the vendors have to offer.

As usual, we are big supporters of Shopping Local!
