The Sunshine State has thousands and thousands of acres of strawberries. They grow during strawberry season, which typically runs from September through May each year.
Plant City, Florida, is even known as the “Winter Strawberry Capital of the World”.

2nd Annual Boca Strawberry Festival – Boca Raton

More information: The Boca Strawberry Festival is a great festival to attend early in the season. This fun strawberry celebration has plenty of different things to do and see.
Take your photo with the Boca Strawberry Fest mascot “Silly Sammy the Strawberry” and tag us on social media (#AuthenticFlorida).
There are 90 vendors selling various goods, bungee trampolines, a petting zoo, pony rides, a magic shows, live entertainment, carnival rides, and so much more.
Don’t forget all the delicious strawberry treats to try – like strawberry ice cream, cookies, mocktails and cocktails.
We love the Puppy Pals Stunt Dog Show, which has multiple shows scheduled each day and features cute dogs performing cool tricks.
Admission for this event is $15 per person. Children 2 and under are admitted for free.
Unlimited carnival ride wristbands are $38 per person.

Space Coast Strawberry Festival – Viera
When: Saturday, February 3rd, from 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday, February 4th, from 10 am to 6 pm

More information: The Space Coast Strawberry Festival is Brevard County’s biggest fair. We enjoy picking our strawberries here.
You can also treat yourself to delicious snacks like homemade strawberry donuts and milkshakes.
Explore the festival’s Arts & Crafts Village to meet cool vendors. See live shows from alligator experts, musicians, and magicians, and head over to the Fun Zone for carnival rides.
Proceeds from the event benefit Drown Zero, an initiative started on the Space Coast with a mission to prevent drownings.
Admission for this event is $6 per person. Children 2 and under are admitted for free.

Palm Bay Strawberry Fest – Palm Bay
When: Saturday, February 17th and Sunday, February 18th

More information: If you are looking for a strawberry festival in the Melbourne area, the Palm Bay Strawberry Fest is an excellent one to attend in 2024.
The former Melbourne Strawberry Fest has outgrown its usual location in Wickham Park, Melbourne, and moved to Palm Bay.
The festival has all the same great features and activities. This includes Plant City strawberries, live entertainment, and children’s activities like bounce houses and arts & crafts.

Keel Farms Strawberry Bash – Plant City
When: Saturday, February 24th from 10:00 – 3:00 pm and Sunday, February 25th from 11:00 – 3:00 pm

More Information: The Keel Farms Strawberry Bash returns for its annual celebration of all things strawberries.
Expect a strawberry shortcake eating contest, delicious strawberry blush, and strawberry shortcake wine.

4th Annual Live Oak Strawberry Fest – Live Oak
When: Saturday, February 24th and Sunday, February 25th

More information: The 4th Annual Live Oak Strawberry Fest has Plant City strawberries, fresh strawberry shortcakes, chocolate-covered strawberries, strawberry fudge, strawberry lemonade, and plenty of other sweet strawberry treats.
The festival also has some exciting events scheduled, including a world-famous Frisbee dog show, monster truck rides, and axe throwing.

The Villages Strawberry Festival – The Villages
When: Saturday, February 24th, from 10 am to 9 pm and Sunday, February 25th, from 10 am to 4 pm

More information: The Villages is hosting its Strawberry Festival in February.
In addition to strawberry deliciousness, the event also has unique entertainment like The Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show. The show includes thrilling challenges like log rolling and axe throwing.
Don’t miss the pie-eating contest. It’s a crowd-favorite amongst the Villagers.

89th Annual Florida Strawberry Festival – Plant City
When: Monday, February 29th through Sunday, March 10th
Where: Florida Strawberry Festival Fairgrounds, 303 Berryfest Place, Plant City, FL 33563
More information: The 89th Annual Florida Strawberry Festival is the biggest strawberry festival in the state.
The 11-day celebration occurs in Plant City – the Winter Strawberry Capital of the World.
Plant City produces over 75% of the country’s mid-winter strawberries.
In addition to fantastic live entertainment, there are carnival rides, local vendors, and livestock shows.
The festival has many ticketed headline acts scheduled, including renowned bands like the Beach Boys and Black Eyed Peas.
For food, there are so many strawberry-inspired options to choose from.
We highly recommend trying everything from fresh strawberries to the festival’s world-famous strawberry shortcake.
Admission for this event is $15 per adult 13+ and $5 per child 6 to 12. Children 5 and under are admitted for free.

10th Annual Habit at Ocala Strawberry Festival – Ocala
When: Saturday, March 2nd, from 9 am to 5 pm

8th Annual Clay County Strawberry Fest – Green Cove Springs
