Tasty Pastry Bakery – Tallahassee, FL
Tasty Pastry Bakery is the best bakery in Tallahassee, Florida – and the oldest.
The original location opened in 1963. Tasty Pastry has been at its current location since 1987.
The Cross family owns and operates this popular spot. The bakery sells wonderful cakes, cupcakes, pies, cheesecakes, bagels, pastries, and bread.
You can’t go wrong with any of the fantastic options here, which truly have been perfected over the decades.
We’re a bit partial to the bakery’s cupcake selection. This includes amazing choices like German Chocolate, Rocky Road, and Cookies ‘n Cream.

Or try a decadent Chocolate Orange Tea Cake, a small cake with a lovely combination of dark chocolate and orange zest.
You will find a variety of baked goods with every visit. Each day, the bakery menu goes live at 8 am on their website.

- Buttermilk Bakery is open Wednesday through Friday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
- The small bakery does not have seating inside, but there are tables outside where you can enjoy your baked goods.

Mon Délice French Bakery offers its New Smyrna Beach visitors a menu of authentic French treats.

Serge Sorese has been running the bakery since 1992, applying his French culinary experiences to each tasty creation.

We can’t go to New Smyrna Beach without picking up a couple of their amazing sub sandwiches to go.

Yoder’s Amish Village – Sarasota, FL
Yoder’s Amish Village began as a restaurant on Main Street in Sarasota back in 1975.
It relocated to its current spot in 1984, winning awards for its delicious Amish cooking and baking.
The family-run spot has since added a gift shop, produce market, and deli, becoming the village it is known as today.
At the New Market, you will find fresh-baked treats like cookies, whoopie pies, and mini-cream pies.
Step over to the restaurant for one of Yoder’s delicious pies, which are baked from scratch daily.
Choose from cream pies like banana cream, coconut cream, and Florida key lime. Or baked pies like Dutch apple crumb, Southern pecan, and baked peach.
We highly recommend the hummingbird pie.
