Museum of Illusions Exhibit Highlights
Climbing Room
This is a fun activity that involves a rock climbing wall fixed to the ground at an angle. There are also angled mirrors on the wall.
By positioning ourselves on the rock wall, the mirror showed an illusion that we were climbing up the wall when, in fact, we were posing from the ground.
Head on the Plate
Variations of “Head on the Plate” are famous in the world of optical illusions. For this exhibit, mirrors are set up around a table. The mirrors make it appear as if there is nothing under the table.
There is a small compartment you can enter under the table, with a hole in the plate on top. This creates the appearance that your head has been served.
Reversed Room
This room is set up with everything at a 90-degree angle. The set up allows you to pose for some fun photo opportunities.
We loved how it seemed like we were defying the laws of gravity.
Vortex Tunnel
Vortex Tunnel is a fun experience that plays with the human brain. The spinning tunnel gives those who are crossing the bridge a dizzying experience.
Despite knowing that the bridge itself wasn’t moving, the motion of the tunnel surrounding it made us feel unbalanced as we made our way across.
Infinity Room
The vast expanse of the Infinity Room is constructed with a series of angled mirrors. The mirrors create a never-ending number of mirrored images.
Tips on Visiting the Museum of Illusions Orlando
Visit during weekdays for lower crowds
As with most attractions, visiting the Museum of Illusions during the week provides a much less crowded experience than visiting on the weekend.
On weekends, the best time to visit is when the museum opens
If you are planning on visiting during the weekend, try booking a time slot for when the museum opens.
You can also enjoy a quieter experience about an hour and a half before closing, which additionally has the perk of seeing the ICON Park attractions lit up.

To make sure that you arrive on time, set aside about 15 minutes to find parking in the garage and walk to the museum.

We recommend setting aside one to two hours to fully enjoy this experience and its fun photo ops.
Staff members can explain illusions and help with photo ops
There are helpful staff members stationed throughout the exhibits. They can assist you if you have any questions.
If they aren’t busy, staff members may also be able to take photos of you and your group participating in the museum’s hands-on exhibits.
